Plastering in Fareham and Across Hampshire
Internal plastering carried out to the highest standard, by a team with over 30 years of combined experience.

Overview
Skilled Plasterers You Can Rely On
CW Plastering & Rendering provides professional internal plastering for homeowners and businesses across Fareham, Hampshire, West Sussex, and Dorset. Whether you're renovating a single room, fitting out a new build, or reskimming an entire property, we bring the same level of care and finish to every job.
We've been in the trade for over 30 years combined, and we've been trading as a business for more than a decade. A smooth, long-lasting plaster finish doesn't happen by accident. It takes the right prep, the right materials, and someone who takes pride in the result.
What we offer
Our Plastering Services
Four core services covering everything from a quick refresh to building a wall up from scratch.

The difference
A Finish You'll Notice
Good plastering is invisible, in the best possible way. When it's done well, all you see is a smooth, even surface ready for decoration. When it's done badly, no amount of paint will hide it.
At CW Plastering & Rendering, we prepare surfaces properly before a trowel goes anywhere near the wall. That means checking for moisture, securing loose areas, and using the right materials for the substrate. It might take a little longer, but it lasts.
We work on projects of any size, from a single bedroom before a refresh to a full house plaster following a renovation. Domestic and commercial work welcome.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
A single room re-skim typically takes one day, though larger rooms or walls in poor condition may take longer. A full float and set on a whole room generally takes two days: one for the float coat to dry, one for the finishing skim. We'll give you a realistic timescale when we quote.
New plaster needs to dry fully before you paint, usually around four to six weeks for a freshly plastered surface, depending on the thickness and ventilation. We recommend a mist coat (heavily diluted emulsion) as your first coat to help the paint bond. We'll always advise you on this before we finish.
We ask that you move as much as you can beforehand, particularly anything fragile. We'll take care of protecting the floor and any items that can't be moved, but the more space we have to work, the quicker and cleaner the job will be.
A re-skim applies a thin finishing coat over an existing plaster surface. It's ideal when the underlying plaster is sound but the surface is damaged, painted over, or rough. A full re-plaster (float and set) removes the existing plaster and starts from scratch, which is necessary when walls are damp, badly damaged, or have never been properly finished.
